EVOLUTION cleans

Unit for efficient separation of loose soil, clods, straw/grass and stones from crops such as potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips, celeriac, beetroot, etc.

The Evolution separator works by pulling the waste down between 2 counter-rotating rollers. The large spiral roller is made of PU with spiral ribs, air chambers and is deformable. The smaller roller is smooth and made of steel. The clever design of the "spiral rib" carries the waste into the opening between the rollers, where soft waste is crushed and pushed out under the separator. Stones will also pass between the rollers as the sharp edges are gripped and as the "spiral roller" easily deforms around the stone, they are pulled down. If larger stones enter the opening and there is not enough deformation in the spiral roller, there is a safety mechanism that allows the smooth roller to jump away briefly to allow the stone to pass through.

To regulate and fine-tune the separator for different crops/conditions, the unit is equipped with speed and direction control of the rollers.

Depending on the desired aggressiveness, the spiral rollers are available in the following versions: 4 x 6 mm ribs, 6 x 10 mm ribs and 3 x 17 mm ribs.

The unit is available in a wide range of widths and with either 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cleaning sections consisting of one spiral roller and one smooth roller per section

Roll cleaners

Used to remove grass and soil. Available with fixed or adjustable roller spacing. Depending on the product and desired result, either star, spiral or smooth rollers are used.

The machine is typically placed directly after a receiving shopper, as this ensures optimal spreading of the product over the rollers and thus the best cleaning result.

Available with different rolls, lengths and widths, depending on customer needs.

Counter running spike strip/grass separator

Used to remove grass and loose soil/clay lumps. The machine works by a counter-rotating spiked belt grabbing the loose particles, which are transported over the end to a collection belt while the product rolls down backwards or is pushed over the side of the spiked belt.

Onion tops

Used to cut the tops from onions. This is done using rotating blades under vibrating solders. The vibrating scales cause the top of the onion to fall through and then it is cut off with the knives. The machine's scales are very easy to change using a quick-lock system.
